Romance isn’t dead – you just need to book a getaway! There is nothing better than catching some R+R with the one you love most in a chill, low-key location. We’re talking about looking at the star-studded sky from the warmth and comfort of a bubbling hot tub.
These cabins we have picked out are the perfect spot for getting cozy in the woods and of course we filtered out the ones that do not have hot tubs.
A-Frame Cabin Haven
Nestled between some beautiful Red River Gorge rock formations, this A-Frame Cabin provides a cozy loft feel. There are multiple decks to provide plenty of spaces to enjoy outdoor hangs and take in the views. The king loft includes a Tempurpedic bed so you will be sleeping comfortably in this perfect getaway!
Magical Rustic Cabin at Maco’s Mountain Resort
Have a need for views? This rustic cabin has an incredible wrap-around porch that will allow you to take in the serene vibe of the Appalachian Mountains. It is incredibly private so you and your favorite person will be able to enjoy a moment to slow down and take this hideaway. Once evening rolls around you will be able to see all the stars from the 6-person hot tub on the patio. This cabin is a little further out from the Red River Gorge but it is worth the extra mileage!

Red River Gorge is the ultimate spot for a cabin getaway. This traditional cabin is the perfect little private log cabin that is all about charm and character. You can spend time relaxing in this low key space or take a scenic drive to enjoy all that Red River has to offer. Once you settle in you are sure to enjoy this quiet escape!
Cozy Cottage that is close to the 502
Sold on the cabin getaway but don’t want to be too far from the city? There is a cozy cottage nestled about 15 minutes away from downtown Louisville, Kentucky. This spot that they lovingly call “America’s Barn” is a full experience. Slow time way down by meeting a small flock of laying hens on the property that provide fresh eggs daily (yum). There is a full in-ground pool in the backyard so we recommend checking out this spot in the summer!
Farm Retreat in Red River Gorge
Always chasing the perfect sunrise? This beautiful cabin is nestled on a farm that creates a breathtaking view to take in the rising sun. This cabin is intimate and is a great spot to relax after a long day of hiking at the Gorge. There is a large porch where you can sit in the hot tub, sip a cup of coffee or wine, and take in the full farm feels!
Sundance Cabin
This snuggly little pastoral cabin in the mountains is just 9.2 miles from Natural Bridge, but feels miles away from the crowds! You’ll be as cozy as a bear in a cave in the homey interior, around the firepit, or in the hot tub on the wrap-around porch counting stars. The grounds are so lush and vibrant!

Needing some water-side chill vibes in your life? Cabin Red River Gorge really has a little bit of everything. Your adventure starts with a hidden covered bridge entrance over the middle fork of the Red River and then the spacious studio has a fully enclosed deck and is on 6 acres. Enjoy stargazing from the inflated outdoor hot tub or fire pit, and enjoying floating on the private lazy river.
Luxury Safari Tent
If you rather be tucked away in the trees – this super unique luxury safari tent has the most perfect peaceful location just for you. This glamping tent has a full bathroom, kitchenette, queen bed, futon, TV and WiFi, not to mention a private back deck or the huge overlook deck which soars over the pines. You can also find an outdoor hot tub, sauna and covered pavilion with grill, blackstone griddle and pizza oven and hiking trails that surround the property.

This small but comfy cabin was built for nature lovers and you can fully experience all that the Red River Gorge can offer. There are options to hike, rock climb, and fish nearby or you can just enjoy the cabins outdoor furniture and of course the hot tub.

This stunning 5 bed and 4 bath cabin on Barren River Lake was created with entertaining in mind. There is a large front and back porch to fully take in the surrounding views and take a moment to relax with the fresh breeze from the lake! Not to mention a huge dining room table and an entire game room with a foosball table! The hot tub is nestled on the bottom level and has a perfect view of the water. Space, amenities, and views – this one has it all.
3-Acre Red River Gorge Cabin
This picture-perfect spot is nestled right beside a stunning lake and has some incredible views. The cabin sleeps 8 and is complete with a basement that has a pool table. Want a cabin experience unlike any other? The Serenity Falls Cabin is located in the middle of a horseshoe-shaped canyon and is nestled right in a rock formation. If you visit this cabin in the winter, fall or spring you can see a seasonal waterfall from your porch – what a perfect way to enjoy your morning coffee! This cabin is pet friendly and is the ideal family getaway that has plenty of trails to tire out the kids!

This beautiful cabin has wooden rustic interiors that will immediately make you feel at home in the mountains, and it’s one of our favorite cabins in Red River Gorge. There is a cozy wrap around porch that is covered so you can enjoy the views no matter what weather is thrown your way. This cabin is also pet-friendly so pack up your four legged friends when you hit the road!
New Construction with Boat Slip
This new cabin build is close to Lake Barkley and is equal parts cozy and spacious. There is a built-in screened porch that gives you the opportunity to take in the sounds of nature. It is a perfect way to soak up all the zen vibes that this cabin has to offer. I would personally recommend spending an evening around the fire pit with some smores – the perfect way to experience this cabin!
Heavenly Hideaway near Red River Gorge
This picturesque 2-bedroom cabin is all about the views and privacy. Heavenly Hideaway looks exactly what I think of when I think about a cozy cabin. My favorite part? There is a wooden swing that overlooks the peaceful views. There is plenty of space for kids to run and play, plus it is pet-friendly for a small fee!
