8 Halloween Pop-Up Bars in Louisville for Spooky Themed Cocktails
In recent years, Louisville experienced a very cool phenomenon: themed Christmas bars. First there was one, then two, then droves, until suddenly we were all going out in ugly sweaters and drinking out of Santa Mugs all month long. And while I absolutely love it, I couldn’t help but feel like Christmas was getting all the attention. Why not Halloween?? Why is it so hard to buy a bag of blood or a bubbling potion cocktail in this city?!
Well, friends, I’m BEYOND happy to say that 2026 is our YEAR! Halloween themed bars are HERE. They began appearing overnight without any warning, and then spread, like werewolves or vampires. As of this writing, there are 8!! Y’all, I am beyond stoked. (Bars: please let us know ASAP if you plan to open up a new one? Pretty please? Just DM us on Instagram, thanks love you bye.)
So, here’s the plan: grab your Halloween girlypops and plan to hit a few in one night. Take a rideshare (or rent a trolley if you want to ball out and make the entire city jealous), and OBVIOUSLY wear costumes. I organized the bars by neighborhood, with a couple of walkable clusters. Oh, and tag @letsgolouisville on Instagram so we can see your looks!
